Well, loves. We’ve made it past Thanksgiving and are heading into the heart of the holiday season.

While it’s easy to get swept up into the magic of it all—the decorations, the music, the OH-so-amazing food—it’s also the time of year when most of us are inspired to think of those who may not be fortunate enough to enjoy the fun traditions of the holidays that many of us look forward to.

As a mom, my heart always goes straight to little ones in need.

Our “Pajamas for Christmas” Tradition

One of our very favorite holidays traditions we share with our kids each year is getting into brand new holiday pajamas, snuggling up in a warm bed under a pile of blankets, and reading Christmas stories together. The girls look forward to it every year almost as much as we do.

However, for millions of children in the United States, the simple joy of wearing new pajamas is an unknown experience. It’s hard to imagine, but many children have never owned a pair of pajamas – let alone been read a bedtime story or tucked into bed at night.

Fortunately, an amazing organization called Pajama Program (along Carter’s, one of our very favorite clothing lines for kids) is working to help these little loves have a bit of extra holiday magic this season.

Pajama Program + Carter’s

Between now and December 31st, 2017, for every pair of pajamas donated to the Pajama Program, Carter’s will match it by donating a pair of their crazy cute holiday pajamas (up to 100,000 pairs).

To Make a Pajama Donation:

If you and your family is looking for a way to give back this holiday season, this amazing collaboration is a great way to really make your generosity have a huge impact.

You can make a pajama donation at any Carter’s store (you can find your nearest one here), or by going online here, like we did earlier this month.

Whether you’re donating on Giving Tuesday or another day during the holiday season, make sure that you make time to give to those who need it the most this year.
